fingerboard: compound 14 to 16 in radius. Bolt-On. 24 frets. Nut made of Metal. The neck is made of Maple. The fingerboard is made of Rosewood. The neck is bound. The fingerboard is inlaid. (MoT Sharkfins).
Body
1999 -2001 models: Poplar body (maple veneer). 2002 - now models: Alder body (flame maple veneer). No pickguard on this model.

Configuration: SSH. 2006 to now: Seymour Duncan® JB™ TB4 Humbucker, Seymour Duncan® STK-1 Single-Coil, Seymour Duncan® STK-1 Single-Coil. Pre 2006: Jackson Duncan designed humbucker and single coils.. Volume controls: 1. Tone controls: 1. There is a pick-up selector. The pick-up selector has 5 positions.
Hardware
2006 to now: Black. pre 2006: Chrome. This guitar has a one-piece bridge/stop. This model has a tremolo. (Floyd Rose® Licensed Jackson® Low Profile JT580 LP Double Locking 2-Point Tremolo).
