Neck
jumbo frets. Bolt-On. 22 frets. The neck is made of Maple. The fingerboard is made of Rosewood. The fingerboard is inlaid. Neck radius is 13.7" (350mm).
Body
Top is a mahogany veneer. Strings through body. Body is made of Alder. Top of the body is made of Mahogany. This model has a pickguard. (tortoised plastic).
Electronics
Third control acts as a phase in - out (and what on the middle?!) on pups. Yamaha calls it a realtime phase control knob. Configuration: HH. 2 x Di Marzio Q-100 hum cancelling soap bars. Volume controls: 1. Tone controls: 2. There is a pick-up selector. The pick-up selector has 5 positions. This model is tap/coil capable. Phase switching can be achieved on this model.
Hardware
chrome. Bridge: TOM.
Notes
In position # 2, the inside coils are hot, the phase knob brings the outer bridge coil in and out of phase.
