controller. We knew what we wanted and found out what pro players
needed - a high quality electric guitar that controls MIDI flawlessly
without compromising the sound or feel of a traditional instrument.

No Compromise
Introducing the Zeta Mirror 6 MIDI Guitar Controller system. It
gives you complete control of MIDI synthesizers, samplers, and
other MIDI devices while maintaining the full capabilities of a top
quality electric guitar.

The Mirror 6 has no delay - uses regular guitar strings and frets -
easily adapts to any playing style or technique - blends the straight
guitar sound with the synth sound - has an elegant look - and has the
feel of a custom made instrument (because it is).

Triggers MIDI Within One Millisecond
The Mirror 6 combines two major technologies, fret scanning and
pitch extraction, into one system. Fret scanning allows triggering a
note within one millisecond on all strings. You no longer have to
compromise your style to accommodate the long delays common to
other converters. Pitch extraction is then used to accurately respond
to bends, vibrato, and tremolo licks.

Intelligent Software
Our powerful software makes MIDI respond to both smooth legato phrasing and the essential percussive
sounds of rhythm guitar. Play a rhythm part while muting a chord and you get the familiar "chunka-chunka"
sound not the full blast of your horn patch as on other guitar controllers. The software even analyzes what
you play to optimize system performance. And since the Mirror 6 is software based, you'll be able to upgrade
performance when new revisions are developed.

Control a Different Synth Patch Per String
The Mirror 6 supports both MIDI Multiple-Mono Mode and Poly Mode. In Multiple-Mono Mode, each string
can be assigned to its own MIDI channel and can independently control its own synth sound and pitch bend.
In Poly Mode, all strings are assigned to the same MIDI channel.

Extensive Parameter Control Matches Any Playing Style
The parameter menu on the Mirror 6 provides more control than any other Guitar MIDI controller. Period. The
menu allows you to tailor your guitar's response to match both your playing style (for example, hard picking
with a lot of isolation between strings) and your receiving synth's capabilities (for example, some synths
respond to Global control while others don't). 100 preset memory locations provide unparalleled style
compatibility with your various synth's patches.

The Guitar
Our MIDI Guitars incorporate a unique sculpted design that rests comfortably against the body. Two models
are available. The Deluxe offers a modified Kahler 2700 Series tremolo with string locks, EMG pickups, and a
composite neck of graphite, aluminum, maple, and ebony. The tremolo works in tow modes, in a standard
string bending mode or as an assignable MIDI controller. The Standard is a non-tremolo model with Select
pickups by EMG. The neck has the feel of a vintage instrument with a clean, modern look. And the guitars use
regular gauge strings and jumbo frets.

Knobs on the guitar adjust Master Volume, Synth/Guitar Blend, Guitar Tone, and a Soft Knob. The Soft Knob
provides fingertip control of your assigned MIDI continuous controller function such as modulation,
after-touch, etc.

Switches on the guitar include Synth Only/Both/Guitar Only, Three-way magnetic Pickup Selector, and a
Rhythm/Neck/Lead (RNL) Mode selector. The RNL Mode Select switch allows you to optimize scanner
performance for chording, lead lines or single hand hammer-ons and two-handed "Van Halen-style" tapping
techniques.

Preset Selection and Editing
Other features include program selection and front panel editing from the fingerboard. The optional FS-64
Footswitch allows remote access to MIDI Bypass, various Hold functions, Preset, Transpose, and a
programmable Soft switch. Since frets on the guitar represent a specific Preset number, fretting a note then
tapping the Present switch on the FS-64 allows you to conveniently access presets - a great convenience
when you're no where near your pedalboard.

System Options
Our Breath Controller Interface, Accelerometer, and AmpTrak Synthesizer Dynamics Processor provide
options for current system expansion.

The Accelerometer is a MIDI continuous controller affected by the motion of the guitar. Merely shaking the
neck or moving the guitar body quickly enough will create such effects as wah-wah filter or even pan from left
to right.

The AmpTrak circuit card allows you to control the amplitude of a synthesizer's audio output in direct
proportion to the decay characteristics of the guitar envelope. A very powerful control that in itself is enough
to convert many non-MIDI guitarists into MIDI maniacs. AmpTrak provides true guitar-like feel to
synthesizer patches.

In all, the Mirror 6 can support five MIDI continuous controllers - a Footpedal, Breath Controller, Whammy
Bar, Accelermoter, and guitar Soft Knob, some with selectable curves, and all assignable and mappable.
