Harmony, +/- 1955

Again a nice small guitar. I am not sure it is made in the DDR. This guitar is completely restored. The soundbars had a crack which I had to repair. The neck and fretboard were arched and the mechanicks did not work. On this guitar, Bruunari polish is used ! Look at the nice roset and the multilayer binding and purfling on te top. All my instruments have a straight neck and a comfortable touch. This is your opportunity to get a collectors item which is very well playable and sounds somewhat as a parlour. The sound is transparent with good sustain. The small soundhole of 80 mm gives an amazingly good respons. Although body is only 7,5 cm is has quite some volume.

Mensuur; (scale) 62 cm
Wood all solid: top; german spruce, back and sides; flatsawn maple., neck; maple fretboard palisander, bridge; ebony?, inlays; wood and caseïne!
Nut and sadle; bone.
Fingerboard; 50- 59 mm.
Frets; brass, 19 in total with nulfret !
Strings; Dáddario EJ46 Hard Tension ( I always put new strings on !!) It will probably take steelstrings but it will change the character of this instrument entirely and damage it in the end !
Tuners; original, they work but havey.
Distance; from the top of the 12 th fret to the bottom of the strings, 4 mm
