Yes indeed a Teller!! A nice guitar build by Horst Teller Nr. 12175. A spanish style build guitar with the first soundbar under an angle. It is a great, light build, overwelming sounding guitar. An instrument for a player with classical performer ambitions. I did take quit some time to restore this instrument to the best of my ability. The back and sides are made of "simple" flat sawn maple, the top is very light coloured fine german spruce with some dark marks in it. Have a close look at the woods which are used on this guitar. The finishing is waterbased polish. The result was again a Teller surprise! The sound is clear, transparent with good sustain. Not too heavy basses and bright trebles. It is a really fine instrument for a player with a sensitive touch. Don't laugh abbout the price. My prices are not normal yet. I just like to gain experience. Fingerboard; 51 - 61 mm.
Frets; 18 nickel.
Strings; D'Addario EJ46 Hard Tension ( I always put new strings on !!)
Tuners; very solid Ruebners, good working.
Distance; from the top of the 12 th fret to the bottom of the strings, 4 mm.
