Oscar Teller Nr. 50 / 1979

An other great Teller. A good guitar build by Horst Teller. It is a nice, solid build, great sounding Guitar. The first sound bar is put under an angle. An instrument for a classical guitar player. This guitar was in a very bad condition A big crack in the sides, broken head, damaged top and non working tuners. It looked terrible and it still does not look as beautiful as a guitar out of the window. I did restore this guitar to the best of my ability and that took a lot of time. I am glad the result is that good. The back and sides are made of mahogany, the top is German spruce and is book matched. The finish is Bruunari alcohol/water based polish. The result was a Teller sound. The big body (10,5 cm high) gives it a remarkable sustain. Warm, transparent with deep basses and clear trebles. It is a really fine guitar. Don't laugh about the price. They are not normal yet for such good instruments. An easy to play guitar because of the Teller D-neck profile and comfortable touch. For me this is a high-end instrument!
