Telesfore Julve, +/- 1930

An EBAY member is sure that this guitar is not build in 1930 but in a later priod by Telesforo's sun. So I lowered the prize!

This is the second Telefore I have for sale. The first one I sold to Arnold Olbrich in Australia. This one is different in the used wood and was seriously damaged. There must have been a terrible impact on the rear of this instrument. The body was deformed and a there was a nasty crack in the top. The tuners were not original and big holes were made in the head. The body looks still a bid deformed because of the angle of the bridge. Just like the Juan Cortez I sold to a great flamenco player, Yorgos Valiris this instrument turned out to be a really fine flamenco guitar! This guitar is bigger than the Cortez .This guitar is well restored and the result is fantastic again a fantastic guitar !! The back is made of laminated flat sawn nut and the sides are solid nut. The top is book matched cedar. The sound of this beauty with a body of 8,5 to 9 cm height ( like a Hernandez flamenco) is bright, clear and transparent. On this guitar Bruunari polish is used. The rosette is very nice almost Sicilian with hundreds pieces of wood and mother of pearl. The head plate is also made of walnut with wooden inlays. The fret board and bridge are made out of the same rosewood with a red gloss. (Like the BM which is for and comes also from the Valancia region) Buy this very well playable guitar which sounds Spanish dry and warm, with good volume and sustain. It is a really beautiful looking and great sounding instrument maybe for somebody how likes a not traditional flamenco guitar. There is no golpa on it yet but I can do that on request. This a real collectors item! If you do not mind the restored crack in the and a little dent in the back and a not super nice looking instrument, but you like to have an great sounding guitar, Do not hesitate and buy it now!!
